ABOUT ALISHA

Alisha Brophy is a writer on Showtime’s Yellowjackets.

She is also a Moth GrandSLAM champion, and you can hear her storytelling broadcast nationally on “The Moth” radio hour and on the Risk podcasts’ “best of” collection. She also co-hosts That Reminds Me, a comedic storytelling show at LA’s The Virgil Bar featuring true stories about being human, and other terrible things.

Alongside Scott Miles, she won the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship, wrote on Netflix’s animated comedy Inside Job, and developed a TV show with Kevin Hart for Disney+.

Her projects are often inspired by her backstory that includes carnival work, and competitive dog training.

She spends her free time building pop-up escape rooms and trying (but failing) to perfect the art of cutting her own bangs.
